I personally feel that neighbor signs for one-time events should be  
left alone, as long as they are removed by the poster soon after the  
event is over, whether it be a yard sale, rally, concert, whatever.

It's the mass-produced commercial placards for real estate,  
remodeling, diet pills, etc. that really have no place on our phone  
poles IMO. Maybe others have a different idea. I would find it  
aggravating to post a simple yard sale sign just for the weekend and  
find that someone was following me and tearing it down. We don't want  
a sterile environment IMO.

Then again, I'm a bit of a lame duck now.  Quack.
