[Summit] Trader Joes

In Warwick?? Who can walk to a market in Warwick? Perhap's I'm just an elitist but I feel like the capital city is craving a Trader Joe's the most. Bald Hill Road and TJ's just don't seem to go hand in hand.

SNA hasn't taken an "official" position on Trader Joes, but we'd be nuts
to say no. (And I'd be out of my house.)
I must have missed a message - is a TJs in Warwick a sure thing? Do we
have it officially or just "friend of a friend?" In any event, I sent a
location request message via the link at Trader Joes, asking that they
at least reward our neighborhood's loyal fans with an explanation of
what they need.

Another question was how to set up an email campaign. SNA has an account
with CitizenSpeak, which was created by our neighbor Jo Lee on Ivy St.
It's a great tool to not only generate but record email campaigns. First
someone on the SNA board had to set up the campaign, with a basic
message and emails where it will go.

The link can be posted on a web site, sent via email or you can just
type in the URL. Users go right to a page similar to the one at Trader
Joes and fill in their names. They can add all they like to the standard
message. Their message can go to an unlimited number of destinations. As
people participate, the contact information they provide and their
additional comments are recorded for the organizer to retrieve later.
This could also be a good tool for, say, advocating for fountain
restoration.

If anyone wants to work with me on setting this up, I'd be happy to
help. First step would be to have an email where this would go.

Due to my complete ignorance of sports, I foolishly
scheduled our Save The Fountain kickoff meeting in the
middle of Superbowl Sunday. To avoid cramping
people's plans, I'd like to reschedule to 12:00 on
Saturday the 2nd. (I think an hour should be enough,
so you can sleep in beforehand and have most of your
Saturday to yourself afterward.) If this causes any
difficulties for anyone, I really apologize. If you
can't make it but would like to help, just get in
touch (450-2082 or rynemonn at yahoo.com) whenever you
can. Thanks!

- Jesse

Can anyone recommend a good, honest, reliable mechanic who charges fair
prices?

Thanks.

I like Bob at D'Ambra's Sunoco on Hope Street. Good work, good prices.

We've had good experiences there, too, for routine service.
