Monday, June 29 around 11:00. We heard someone outside our house at
Creston and 3rd Street.
A man was injured and sitting on the curb. He was in pain and rubbing
his ankle. We thought he was a late night jogger. But then he got on
his mobile phone and told the person he was calling that he fell out
of a second story window and to pick him up. He couldn't explain
where he was and was giving directions via landmarks and not street
names. We called the police.
I went out to walk the dog and saw him get into a car that drove him
to Miriam. The police said that he's been arrested before and
couldn't not explain to them what happened. He gave the police two
different stories about falling off a deck earlier in the day and
another about just twisting his ankle. The police said he's been
arrested before and has a record. They have his finger prints. So if
anyone has been broken into tonight please do not touch anything and
call the police.
I hate being Gladis Kravits but, I'm glad we looked out the window and
checked on the noise we heard. We must stay vigilant. Even the
police said that burglars see this neighborhood as a supermarket.
Hopefully we can show them that this supermarket has tight
neighborhood security!

Anyone know what's going on in Miriam's 7th Street lot?
It looks like construction.

Hi all. I have an item I want to get rid of but want to check for a
re-use opportunity before I do. It is a memory foam mattress topper
with a nice nylon cover that zips over it. It is King size and in
great shape. It is free to the first taker but you must pick it up
and never bring it back. If anyone is interested please contact me
before Sunday.
Thanks,
Jeff Cavanaugh
