It's not just the sidewalks either, the streets are in horrible shape going up the hill between North Main and Hope. For the amount of money we spend on roads compared to other states, this is unacceptable.

Subject: [Summit] Sidewalk Repairs
There seems to be many residents crying out to have their sidewalks
repaired; and NOT wanting to wait for years to gain safety, where it is MOST
needed.
I propose that concerned individuals gather together; and draft/write a
letter to our Council Person. This letter strongly emphasizing the need to
have the sidewalks/curbstones repaired ASAP.
This is for the safety of all those who are forced to walk in the streets;
due to the unsafe sidewalks. (One risks one's life "street-walking" in view
of cars using the streets. I can't see cars driving on the sidewalks...just
to free the streets for predestrians' safety!)
We all pay plenty in taxes; and for our safety, we should have them work for
us in a "quick-response" manner.
Monique
