Hi Marian,
Mt. Hope is a large area. Could you possibly give cross streets? This would
help someone reading this and to intensify the search. I hope your cat
returns. The Providence Animal Control and Care on Service Rd (off Allens
Ave.) could aid you as whether they picked up your kitty. This is city run.
Also the Animal Rescue League on Elbow St might help. (They only take
turn-ins.) If all else fails, animal hospitals ..24-hour particularly..would
know, in the some good Samaritan saw your kitty was in need of medical
attention.
I have spent years volunteering at an animal shelter. Good Luck with
things.
