Julia Steiny responded to my message about paving stones and asked me to pass along the following:

"For reasons I can not figure out -- and e-mails to the list owner and others have not panned out -- I can't post to this list.  I need help with gutters and some recommends were passing recently -- before two spouts blew off their gutters.  Would you be so kind as to ask the question again, so I can get those recommends.  I'll keep trying to get connected to the list."
