My optometrist, Dr. Pugliese, is great - caring, available,
conscientious and knowledgeable. He saved me from
an incorrect diagnosis by a "specialist", who said I had
glaucoma when I didn't. (That was maybe 7 or 8 years ago).
He is a short drive, but worth it:
Dr. John Pugliese, OD
Pugliese Family Eye Care
41 Sanderson Rd, Smithfield, RI 02917
(401) 349-4791
Blessings,
Liberty G

If you’re looking for an eye doctor:
My mother had a truly horrible experience at the RI Eye
Institute. She went in for routine cataract surgery and came out with a damaged
eye with almost no vision. She didn’t sue (she’s 81) but it was
pretty much a disaster. I’d be happy to share more info. privately.
