[Summit] yard sale warning

Last weekend we had a yard sale.  We put up signs on 4 intersections 
near our house, using a staple gun and placing them high enough to be 
hard to reach.

Around noon, one of our visitors said "you have no signs up" to which we 
replied yes, we do.  Around 3:30 we went for a drive to take down the 
signs and sure enough, 3 of 4 were gone.

We suspect that they were deliberately removed by the first of our 
customers, who were notable:  extremely aggressive, Russian-speaking, 
early-birds who lingered for a very long time,  scrutinizing everything 
with a magnifying lens, and ultimately buying very little.

So check your signs periodically if you've advertised your sale in the 
web (attracting dealer types).
