[Summit] Sewer Improvements

We live on Bayard St and also have a pipe laid across our driveway (the bottom of my car hits the sand/pipe) when I go over it. We asked a worker this morning what the time frame was for getting them into the ground and he said they would actually be on the street/in front of the driveway for several months. They plan to pave over the driveway entrances that are now sand as a temporary step until the pipes go in. I'm concerned that my car will still bottom out when going over that bump - we'll see. It's also unclear to me why it would be advantageous to them to deliver and lay out the pipes and pave at every driveway rather than just deliver the pipes when they are about to do the work.Anyone have any insights on this?Kathy

I am getting a bit lost with all the steps and systems. And does anyone know what this phase will entail in terms of digging up streets, sidewalks etc? I see they have already laid the pipes on the street across the cuts for driveways and then mounded sand over them to allow driveway access.

However, the Program Manager doing the presentation said that the contractor doing the sewer/paving work had not been working as quickly as they'd hoped.
