Just wanted to quickly clarify, we had a program that worked last season.  It was very simple, orchestrated by one resident.  He simply had a list of shoveler volunteers and a list of residents-in-need.  And then he matched them up with each other to be sure people were getting shoveled out when they needed to.  In order to be a recipient of this service, you needed to be both physically unable to shovel and financially unable to pay someone to shovel for you.

The resident who coordinated this program last season is unable to do it this year due to other constraints on his time.  We have put out the word a few times that we'd love someone to take his place, even if only for this one season.  We already have the two lists ready for this person.

The meeting at Hope Artist Village may uncover some other additional needs of our community.  We'll see!
