Regardless of where you stand on this race, I suggest you consider
my comments to Mark Binder this morning in response to his
campaign E-Mail.  We all benefit from clarity and accuracy in the
statements by any political candidate, not unsupported attacks.
I know of no proven "corruption" by Gordon Fox.

			Mark,

I suggest you be cautious in how you frame your allegations:

"a 20 year politician and one of the key players in the 38 Studios
Disaster. As House Speaker, he's the guy who blocked payday lending
reform despite the fact that 50 State Reps co-sponsored the bill. He
smashed together the Board of Higher Ed and the Board of Regents in a
late night vote. And he wouldn't even call for a vote on marriage
equality, because he might lose".

These actions can be criticized, and do include political strategizing,

but they by no means prove "This sort of corruption" by Fox.  Likewise,

McCauley's guilty plea does not indite anyone but himself.  I think
38 Studios was a big mistake, but is not a sign of criminal behavior.
(And, hindsight is 20-20).

Just a suggestion that you stick to provable statements - and the

differences in policy and proposed actions between you and the

			incumbent.

			Blessings,

It's been wonderful meeting so many people as I go door to door.
I truly appreciate the time that you take to ask me questions, challenge my assumptions and make suggestions.
As you know, I'm battling against Gordon Fox, a 20 year politician and one of the key players in the 38 Studios Disaster. As House Speaker, he's the guy who blocked payday lending reform despite the fact that 50 State Reps co-sponsored the bill. He smashed together the Board of Higher Ed and the Board of Regents in a late night vote. And he wouldn't even call for a vote on marriage equality, because he might lose.
This sort of corruption costs taxpayers money. Gordon Fox has left us behind and it's time to move ahead. His political allies are leaving the sinking ship. Rep. Patrick O'Neill resigned from his position a majority whip, John J. McCauley Jr. pled guilty to federal felony charges.
***For today's op-ed in the Providence Journal, "My challenge to R.I.’s broken House leadership": http://bit.ly/projo_challenge***For a great article about the campaign, read the PowerPlayer piece on GoLocalProv: http://bit.ly/power_player***And scroll down if you want a sad Rhode Island Political laugh on the emerging Gordon Fox & Larry Bermangate Corruption coverage...
My goal is to improve this state for citizens, taxpayers and businesses by cleaning up the government and improving the schools.
There is no Republican in this race. It's time to move ahead.
I ask for your vote in November.

I need your help.

MEDIA COVERAGE of LARRY BERMANGATE CORRUPTION

Recently we called out Gordon Fox on his use of a full-time state employee as his campaign press secretary. It's gotten some play on NBC10 and in other news:http://bit.ly/NBC_bermangate_video1 and also on WPRO Radio: http://630wpro.com/Article.asp?id=2546145&spid=37719

MAKE SURE YOU CAN VOTE
One thing that has been surprising is the number of folk who think they're registered but aren't.
