Dear Neighbors,

As noted in our Door-to-Door newsletter, please be advised that we plan to have a crane on our property this Saturday, November 3rd and next Saturday, November 10th at 8:00 a.m.  Shawmut Design and Construction will be erecting the new structural steel on the roof of the C Building and repositioning several existing roof top units.  Work will start at 8:00a.m. and is scheduled to be complete by 6:00p.m.  A crane and support vehicles will be positioned in the Emergency Lots along Fifth Street.  Shawmut will set up the work site with barrels and caution tape.  A Providence Police officer will be on duty to direct traffic.

The schedule will be the same for the following weekend with delivery of the new roof top equipment. We will try to complete other ancillary work on our roof top during both weekends as we prepare for winter and test systems as a result of Hurricane Sandy.  This means that you may see workers and trucks on the Seventh Street side of our buildings either weekend.

There is a community informational meeting scheduled for this Thursday, November 1 at 6:30p.m.  which will provide updates with regard to our Emergency Department renovations and other happenings at the hospital.  The meeting will be held in The Fain Building in the second floor and refreshments will be served.  I hope you can attend and please bring any questions or concerns you may have with you.

As always, please feel free to email me at TMHneighbors at lifespan.org or call me on The Neighborhood Hotline at (401)-793-4040.

Sincerely,
 Monica Anderson
Community Liaison

Some time after 3AM someone dumped a hemlock tree behind our house.
The wind had already died down, and also the wind doesn't leave scuff marks
or trample ferns.
I think they may have been trying to steal it.

Then I discovered the lock in our back door is too damaged to accept a key.
And a foot print on the bench under the back hallway window.

Bless the creator - they don't seem to have been successful. Nothing seems
to be missing.

NOW
Any body builder folks around today who want some exercise?
I could use some help getting that 150 lb planter back up where it
belongs....
