The part of their Hope Street sidewalk- between the drive way and the side
street- is currently a stretch of compacted snow turned ice, quite thick
and uneven and slippery.  The only way to avoid it is to walk in the
street, or walk down the side street and cut through the parking while also
dodging cars.

The side street is shoveled, but - since part of the front is not done, I
suspect (tho don't know for sure) that a neighbor did that- not them, as I
have learned in the past.

I told someone in the bank they need to get "Driveway Heat"  of some other
product that is straight calcium chloride or potassium chloride, which
would work even at these temps.

She said that is up to maintenance, not the branch.  So I said "well if you
don't ask them to fix the problem - how are they going to know about it??"
