[Summit] Summit Digest, Vol 96, Issue 19

Gayle, it's good to hear your thoughts. Tom O'Donnell's firing was a huge
issue for the Summit neighborhood, as is the ongoing top-down management
style and poor communication of PCL with its communities. I see no reason
why people shouldn't post their thoughts on the subject in a reasonable
way. That said, the Friends of Tom are now focused on other issues related
to the community and Rochambeau Library, having realized that this
particular injustice has been upheld and will stand, no matter how
unsupportable. Many political issues have been raked over on this listserv,
and, although I have been uncomfortable myself from time to time with
what's been said, I think it's best to have an open forum where people
identify themselves and then have their say.
