First, thanks to everyone who has participated by giving or taking a book from our neighborhood Little Free Library at 116 Summit Ave (yellow house near corner of 4th and Summit). You guys are great.

Participation is up with the summer, and we urgently need these types of books which have turned out to be the most popular with patrons:
- pre-school children's in good condition
- literary novels (sorry, folks don't usually take pulp)
- books about animals or veterinarians such as James Herriott, etc.
- contemporary humor or cartoons
- art books
- graphic novels and anime (pg rated max)
- cook books in great condition
- popular books in other languages (but not super obscure stuff)

However, library users do NOT tend to take these, so please donate to Rochambeau Library instead. (see how below):
- mass market romance, suspense or thrillers
- mysteries or SF from a series (because no one will take a book from the middle of a series.)
- anything religious or political
- self help or new age
- poetry
- magazines
- CDs
- textbooks or Norton anthologies

TO DONATE TO THE LITTLE LIBRARY:
Pop your book into the library
Or:
If the library box is full, slip it into the front door slot at the yellow house.
Or:
If you have a box of books and it may rain, leave boxes on the back doorstep of the yellow house.

TO DONATE TO ROCHAMBEAU PUBLIC LIBRARY
Go downstairs to the bottom floor. (Use stairs or elevator). Look for the canvas donations bin in the hallway.

And again, thank you!!!
