[Summit] Replacing an oil burner

Hi Neighbors,

In case you were wondering why there were nine fire department vehicles
(including 6 ladder trucks and one haz-mat) on Chace and Greaton Drive at
7:15 this morning, our steam oil burner's low water cut-off failed and we
woke up to the strong smell of burning things. Luckily, there were no
injuries or serious damage. However, our sixty-plus year-old oil burner is
finally fried.

We have been using Wood's for years and they came by to give us a quote for
a replacement Burnham boiler. However, since this is a significant
investment (and, of course, there are no energy tax credits this year), I
wanted to check with others who may have had experiences with replacing
their burners. Did you use Woods for this or another company? What was your
experience? Are there other burner manufacturers we should consider?

Thanks for any and all help, and we hope to do this by early next week.

Sincerely,
Sherry

Greaton Drive
