[Summit] Monday’s holiday pushes Trash+ Pick-ups back one day this week; Also Yard-Debris, Bulk-Item and Recycling Pick-Ups

Holiday Trash Schedule - City of Providence
   
There is no trash pickup scheduled for the following holidays:

New Year’s Day: Monday, January 2, 2017 (observed)

Martin Luther King Day: Monday, January 16, 2017

President’s Day: Monday, February 20, 2017

Memorial Day: Monday, May 29, 2017

Independence Day: Tuesday, July 4, 2017

Victory Day: Monday, August 14, 2017

Labor Day: Monday, September 4, 2017

Columbus Day: Monday, October 9, 2017

Veterans’ Day: Saturday, November 11, 2017

Thanksgiving Day: Thursday, November 23, 2017

Christmas Day: Monday, December 25, 2017

If a holiday falls on your trash pick up day, your trash will be picked up the very next day. All pickups for the rest of the week will also be one day later. (Friday’s pickup will be on Saturday).

If the holiday falls on a Saturday, trash pick up is not changed. For missed pickups or to schedule a stove, refrigerator or large item pick up, call 1-800-972-4545. To keep rats away, store your trash in a sealed container.
Recycling is required in the City of Providence. (City Ordinance Sec. 12.61.2) Use of Recyclable Receptacles. Violations of the provisions are Punishable by law. Thank you for your cooperation in keeping our Capital City clean and beautiful.

| Yard Debris Pick-up.  Yard debris service is seasonal and run April through December.  NO PLASTIC BAGS!  Please place yard debris in brown paper debris bags or in your own container marked as yard debris.  Get your FREE yard debris sticker at DPW during our normal business hours. |  |
