We had one living in one of our porch planters for two years in a row
Don't know if it particularly liked eating my pineapple sage,
or just that the leaves were such a perfect match- it was almost impossible
to find where the insect was hiding that day.
Don't know where it went or laid the eggs in the winter
as the plant died and I covered the planter for the winter.
Was disappointed when it did not come back the third year!
Chirped very energetically at times.
