Face masks, hand sanitizer, & blue tape

Hello friends! Tomorrow, we prop open the door and see what happens! The shop will be open for in-person browsing once again. You must wear your face mask and clean your hands with the sanitizer provided before browsing. If you are looking for a specific book, please continue to enquire by email or phone for pick up, so that space is preserved for browsers. According to the rules, we can have six people in the shop at one time, which means five customers. For now, we will be open Thursday through Sunday 12-5pm.

I am both excited and nervous to welcome you all back into the store. That being said, we will likely have to make some adjustments as we figure things out. Thank you for your continued patience and support. We truly could not do it without you and I look forward to seeing you soon.

Kristin

Dear Moses Brown Alumni, As we enter the final days of an unprecedented school year, I’m writing to provide information that I’ve just shared with current families about what’s to come in the fall. MB’s Board of Trustees and administration have been keenly focused on next school year and we encourage you to review our emerging plans at this link.
  Three key takeaways are:
   - It is our priority and intention to reopen the campus and return to school in September, public health conditions permitting;
   - We have several internal teams already working to ensure that we can deliver our educational program under a variety of conditions;
   - The Board of Trustees has established an emergency tuition assistance program to help Moses Brown families navigate the financial crisis and return to MB next year.
 In collaboration with public health officials, we will continue to monitor the evolving situation and expect to share more detail about our plans by mid or late July. We’re proud of the work of MB’s faculty and grateful for the partnership of our families, as everyone has come together to support our students this spring. This community has demonstrated great care, strength, and resilience in an unprecedented situation.  As we look ahead, we are excited to be taking steps toward returning to what we do best---delivering a highly interpersonal, intellectually rigorous, values-based educational experience on our historic campus.   Best wishes for a successful end to the school year and a restful summer.   Matt GlendinningHead of School  |
