| Our free pop-up concert series at Roger Williams Park continues this fall with a spirit-lifting line-up in a gorgeous outdoor setting. Following the success of our (safely-distanced) summer launch, we’re thrilled to curate a new series of live arts experiences spanning a world of styles, from salsa and French Cajun to West African kora and indigenous jazz.

Tomorrow's concert features kora player Yacouba Diabate, an accomplished craftsman and musician who brings the virtuosic traditions of the griot, or West African troubadour, from his native Burkina Faso to audiences around the world and right here in Providence.

So grab a lawn chair (or blanket) and enjoy extraordinary artists from the well-spaced painted viewing circles on the Dalrymple Boathouse Lawn (across from the Carousel Village - see map). |
