This is Paul Klinkman, Liberty Goodwin's husband, writing.

Even among solar farm developers we'regoing to see various best practices and not-so-good practices.
A big black acre next door is kind ofugly and so it depresses land values. A high-quality developer willtry to screen this mess from each neighbor's view.

Every solar farm wastes some solarenergy in the summer at noontime, and every solar farm has shadingproblems in December when the sun is close to the horizon. It'spossible to farm the rows between solar panels in summer if the rowsare properly spaced apart. Fitting in slightly more solar panels peracre isn't quite as cost-efficient but it's a more land-efficientpractice. It's a tradeoff.

Solar farms and rooftop solarinstallations often use smart meters. Smart meters and 5G Ultrabroadcasting stations (such as the one across Hope Street from theRochambeau Library on top of a telephone pole at the corner ofMayflower Street) can emit near-microwave radio waves that aremedically hazardous for the canaries living among us and a few others too. A high-qualitydeveloper will take steps to reduce this broadcasting pollution.
