Hi all! Please help to spread the word about this amazing initiative to
become a Community Tree Keeper. See the info below:

*APPLY TO BECOME A PROVIDENCE COMMUNITY **TREE KEEPER--NEXT  **TRAINING IS
ON JULY 10TH:*

Do you love trees, have some basic horticulture or landscaping experience &
knowledge, and want to do more to protect and tend to our urban forest?
Consider applying to become a certified *Providence Tree Keeper*!

The program offers technical training focused specifically on the care and
pruning of young, urban trees. Anyone with some experience in gardening or
tree planting & care is eligible to participate. Those who complete the
training session are then authorized to engage in pruning and stewardship
of our young city trees.

Young street trees (our future urban tree canopy!) need lots of attention
and maintenance to truly thrive. The goal of the PVD Tree Keepers program
is to provide some of that stewardship and to foster engagement and
leadership in the Providence tree community.

*THE NEXT TREE KEEPER TRAINING SESSION IS TUES, JULY 9th, at 5:30pm. *
