[Summit] Rotary sponsors Mayoral debate on Aug. 23 - free on Zoom

The Rotary Club of Providence invites the public to a debate on Zoom among
the Democratic candidates for Mayor of Providence -- Gonzalo Cuervo, Nirva
LaFortune and Brett Smiley -- at 12:15 pm Tuesday, August 23. Dan McGowan,
the Boston Globe's Rhode Island columnist, is the moderator.

The winner of their Sept. 13 primary will almost certainly become the
city's next chief executive with responsibility for dealing with such
critical issues as crime, education, housing, municipal funding and more.

There is no cost to attend the debate on Zoom, but advance registration is
